Creating a Strong Brand Identity

Brand identity is the way a company wants to be perceived by it’s audience or consumers. There are several different elements that help create a brand. These include the brand name, logo, tone, tagline, and typography. These elements can help to reflect the value and attributes of a business, and also help it to appeal to right target market.

A company’s brand identity can represent both the company, as well as the product or services they offer to its customers. A good brand identity can help you to stand out against other competitive businesses.

The key to a successful brand lies in identifying the company’s core strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT Analysis), and compare these against other competitors. By doing this you can help to minimise any threats or weaknesses and maximise on opportunities and strengths.

The company’s social media presence is a great way of building brand awareness and relationships with consumers. It can be used to create a tone and voice for the company. All marketing material (both online and off) should be designed to adopt the same brand identity to create a uniform that drives awareness and trust. Building a brand loyalty can help generate sales and make campaign roll-outs more successful.
