eosDesign are a commercial lighting company who’s aim is to save their clients money by value engineering each project. They do this by looking for more efficient ways to light environments and have many years experience of saving clients money.
I was approached to help them develop a brand identity and marketing materials to help them promote their services. The current logo looked dated and cheap and didn’t really represent the business in a true light. I was asked to help realign their branding to match their brand core values.
The Creative Process
We explored a wide range of initial design options, some based on the original design, others exploring different icons and creative tangents. The final logo took inspiration from the company name ‘Eos’ which is the Greek goddess of dawn who rose every morning. The logo features a sun burst design around the letter ‘o’ of the name.
Once the brand identity was chosen, I created a set of brand guidelines which were used throughout all the wider marketing collateral, as a guide to help develop a consistent design and message.
