Eskenzi PR
Branding & Print Design
The Client
Eskenzi PR is a well-established London based PR agency, that is renowned for building brands and turning them into house hold names by creating a media buzz that makes them ideal for IPO or acquisition. The agency has developed a strong position within the IT security industry and is responsible for a range of IT Security events and other services.
The Brief
Eskenzi PR wanted to create a new brand identity for the European Cyber Security Blogger Awards, an IT Security event they were hosting as part of InfoSec Europe 2018. They wanted the new identity to stand out and break the mould of the usual corporate event branding associated within the industry sector.
The Creative Process
The Blogger Awards is considered one of the more relaxed and informal events that takes place during InfoSec Europe week. I started the project by researching the event and finding out about the audience and attendees. Many of the bloggers who attend work independently, like an underground network of cyber security advisors. I used this as a starting point for developing brand identity concepts.
The final concept was based on a modern adaption of grunge punk visuals and typography that stood out against the other more corporate events of the week. The new brand, event banners, and event winner logo helped to increase engagement and connection within the industry.
